Knepp Rewilding
Illustration Project
The Objective:
Develop a set of illustrations that could be used around their nature reserve, in shops, their meeting rooms, as well as graphics that could be used across their new website and social media assets.

What was delivered:
-
2 digital paintings and 4 digitally drawn illustrations of different areas across the nature reserve.
-
A live illustration whilst a workshop was being held that would be used to promote other workshops they hoped to run in the future
-
Used their brand colours for the line drawings allowing them to fit seamlessly into their existing branding.
Creative Process:
-
At the start of the day I was able to go on a tour around the grounds, take pictures and collect inspiration.
-
Researched their graphics on their current website as well as ones dotted around Knepp itself.
-
Created a few sketches/ideas on the day and then developed them further once we left. I took into consideration the styles they liked, the colours across their branding, whilst also wanting to create pieces that were new/different to what they had.
-
After they were completed, they were handed over with the rest of the work our team had done on the day.

Results:
Having the 2 different styles of illustrations allowed them to be used in multiple ways with the ability to stand alone as pieces of artwork.
Conclusion:
A very enjoyable project for myself. Working with my team as well as theirs, being able to visit such a beautiful site for the research and pull together a set of unique illustrations that the client loved.
