Branding Project
The Objective:
To rebrand an existing Hair Salon. The client wanted a fresh feel to the family run business that reflected who they were at their core. A desire for a modern design, vibrant colours whilst maintaining the sense of reliability.

What was delivered:
-
A set of clear brand guidelines containing the new logos, graphics, typeface and colour palette designed for the client. This would ensure consistency across all platforms and assets.
-
A new website with the new branding as well as new content.
-
Focused on optimising the UX of both desktop and mobile versions of the site.
-
Branded business cards and a digital loyalty card scheme
Creative Process:
-
Carried out research on competitors in the industry, what worked well and how to stand out.
-
Created interactive moodboards to gather mine and the clients ideas in one place, great for referencing.
-
Agreed on a time frame for the project, including revision points to ensure we were heading in the right direction.
-
Spent time sketching physically and digitally (Procreate) to develop the logo, graphics and imagery.
-
Refined all chosen ideas in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and made sure they were all exported in the correct formats for their necessary use.
-
Delivered the refined set of brand guidelines that could be shared with the team, the optimised website with a walkthrough on how to manage it in the future, and a compiled folder with all assets and graphics.

Results:
The new logo and branding reflected the company's values and personality perfectly. It now appealed to a wider range of targets that would lead to an increase in bookings. I was able to ensure it was recognisable and had the ability to be used across a wide range of digital and printed assets.
Conclusion:
Through thorough research and ideation, I was able to meet the clients goals and goals and come up with improvements that improved the overall experience for users.
