Illustration Project

The Objective:

Design a set of illustrations based on the key takeaways from their team-building away day.

What was delivered:

Developed a set of hand drawn illustrations from the live workshop.
Ensured they communicated the desired values clearly in a visually attractive way.
Saved the files and delivered them to the client for them to access and use easily.

Creative Process:

Accompanied my colleague who was running the session to sit and observe in person.
Whilst she led the different workshops, I made notes of key topics and comments made, sketched my ideas out, then took them home to refine.
Made sure to stick to their branding, only adding complementary colours where necessary.
Developed my sketches further and refined them so they were ready for the client to use around the office.
Discussed the final illustrations with the clients, along with any helpful notes I made during the live workshop.

Results:

I was able to create illustrations that captured their team values in a way that was memorable and easy to use across all digital platforms. I chose a simple, cartoon style that worked well with their colours and brand.

Conclusion:

Attending the live workshop was extremely helpful in getting to know the client better, aiding in the final outcome of the project. The client was able to trust that I would bring their idea to life and was excited to display the final illustrations around the office.
